All instructors operate as self-employed franchisees.
Trudo Learners Academy acts solely as a booking agent.
The contract for lessons is strictly between the pupil and the instructor..
Payments
All lesson payments should be made directly to your instructor via cash or bank transfer.
Trudo Learners Academy does not accept payments on behalf of instructors.
We recommend requesting a receipt for all payments made.
If no receipt is provided, please notify us in writing within 48 hours of your first lesson.
Trudo Learners Academy is not responsible for any disputes involving direct payments but can assist where possible.
Instructor Standards
Instructors provide dual-controlled, clean, and roadworthy vehicles.
All instructors must maintain a professional appearance.
No smoking is permitted in any instructional vehicle.
We are committed to equal opportunities and do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or any other characteristic.
Driving Test Policy
Instructors may withdraw vehicle use for the driving test if they believe the pupil is not ready.
Minimum five working days’ notice will be given in such cases.
You may still take your test without passing a mock if your instructor deems it appropriate.
If an instructor is unavailable due to illness, we will try to provide a replacement, though it is not guaranteed.
If a vehicle is unfit for use, a replacement will be attempted, but not guaranteed to match.
If the DVSA examiner cancels the test due to a vehicle fault, the instructor will cover the rebooking fee.
Any damage caused by the pupil during the test, under the insurance excess, must be paid by the pupil.
Extra fees may apply for vehicle use on the test day.
Lesson Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a lesson.
Late cancellations may incur full charges.
Pupils must present a valid UK provisional driving licence before the first lesson.
Lesson cancellations due to breakdowns or emergencies are not the liability of Trudo Learners Academy; we will try to find a replacement instructor or vehicle where possible.
Refund and Complaints
Refunds apply only if no hours have been used and payment was made directly to the instructor.
Block bookings are valid for six months from the date of purchase.
Block booking credit may be transferred to another instructor within Trudo Learners Academy.
Intensive course cancellations before the start date will incur a 50% fee, unless cancelled with at least two weeks’ notice.
Complaints should first be raised with the instructor. If unresolved, submit a written complaint to Trudo Learners Academy.
Mechanical Faults & Vehicle Damage
Lessons disrupted due to mechanical issues will be rescheduled or refunded.
If a pupil causes vehicle damage, time spent resolving the issue (e.g., changing a tyre) will be deducted from lesson time.

Prices and promotional offers are subject to change.
Pre-paid lesson rates are valid for four weeks from the date of purchase.
If lessons are not started within four weeks, additional fees may apply.
